I’m a bit belated wishing Ms. Johnson a Happy Birthday, so I won’t be long winded about it. Happily, rumors of her company’s demise have been exaggerated, and filing for bankruptcy in May did not put a damper on the festivities. She sent 90 looks on candy eating and pig-carrying models down the runway for the occassion. May we all be as incredibly exuberant and able to perform a split when we enter our 70th decade of life on earth. And may Cyndi Lauper sing at all our birthday parties.
