Score Pop-Up Swap Is Coming To San Francisco! Bring Your Stuff, Take Some Stuff

Swaps. Everything is freaking free, which is awesome! But it also means you end up taking home a crapload of stuff which you may or more likely may not know what to do with. But this time will be different! I’m here to help. I’m a “Style Sponsor” for Score‘s major swap this coming Saturday at The Bold Italic headquarters! I’ll be there to help you style the stuff you’re thinking about taking home, so you can decide if you do indeed want it to take up precious space in your closet. Above is a little sampling of what I’m bringing. You know you want those cork pumps! And just for the record those earrings are Shrinky Dinks.

Here’s how the swap works: Bring your old stuff, take as much as you want. Pretty simple. This swap is sticking strictly to accessories and footwear, so you can bring shoes, boots, jewelry, bags, scarves, ascots, cufflinks, fascinators, bowlers, beanies, driving caps, and also vinyl record albums. Really the only thing you shouldn’t bring is clothing. Oh and no housewares. And also nothing that doesn’t belong to you. This is the first San Francisco Score event and the organizers are trying to keep it small-ish and under control—which if you’ve ever been to a clothing swap you know hardly ever happens.

If you buy tickets in advance, entry will set you back $5 (buy your tix here), which will go towards your choice of charities: Surfrider, 826 Valencia, or Dress for Success.

During the swap action you’ll enjoy throwback jams courtesy of DJ Ginger, chow on food truck fare, drink drinks, and there will be screenprinting! Not a bad deal, right?
