Sponsored Posts and Gifted Items Policy

Sometimes people send me items of clothing and ask me to write about them. Other times people send me things just in case I’d like to write about them at some point. Either way, I will always disclose if something was a gift. And I don’t write about things I don’t genuinely like, gifted or not.

Another thing that sometimes happens is companies or brands will pay me to write a post. These are essentially ads, and they are always clearly called out as sponsored posts. But even in these cases, I don’t write post about things I don’t believe in. For example, I would never write a sponsored post about, say, bottled water because those bottles are evil and contribute to giant trash islands in the ocean.
