I’m a longtime fan of Dean Hutchinson, a previously San Francisco-based designer whose former effort was called Mi Concept. His most recent project is A’bout, a modern, minimalist and covetable line he launched in Tononto in 2009 with Yunchieh Chang. I wrote about A’bout’s collab) with local boutique Carrots back in October last year, but they hadn’t yet launched A’bout a Cause, which is the design team’s philanthropic effort, donating 10 percent of their revenue to a different charity each month. This month it’s San Francisco-based Dress for Success, which helps women all over the world get ready for the workplace. So now you have an even better reason (besides gorgeousness) to buy something from A’bout’s latest collection of wrap dresses, tops and scarves. It’s hard to resist pieces that look this elegant and easy to wear, especially knowing Dress for Success will benefit!
