It’s that time of year when you don a really itchy wool dress and hang out at a pumpkin patch with your child who doesn’t want to share the giant bunny!
Sorry I guess I’m being negative but I have already been to three costume-required events and today there’s one more since it’s mercifully, finally, actually Halloween. And as I look at these beautifully-photographed (by Anna-Alexia Basile) images I keep thinking about how Frida was having continual meltdowns, and how it got unexpectedly hot and this vintage wool dress got REALLY itchy and uncomfortable. And I guess I’m just freaking tired.
But we did go to Arizmendi Bakery after the shoot and eat a lot of delicious bread which made everyone feel better.
I can’t help but think most photo shoots must be somewhat of a shitshow behind the scenes? Or at least I hope I’m not alone.
Anyway, happy decorative gourd season, b*itches!!
P.S. I DO love this dress, which I purchased at Torso Vintages (which tragically closed its brick and mortar store in downtown San Francisco recently!), and it’s super comfy when it’s not hot. And I’ve talked about this bag before, the Cass Clutch is AMAZE. Lastly, I love my daughter to the moon and back just in case you were wondering. Oh and I liked one more thing my booties are Freda Salvador.

Deep thoughts with animal skeletons

Don’t even try to get with my bunny.

Seeing pumpkins

I collapsed in the pumpkins at the end.
