This shoe, dubbed the mojito, and a model by Jeffrey Campbell I wrote about recently, don’t have arches. There is, in fact, no shoe at all where the arch should be. I’m with Jennifer Wright at The Gloss. Dislike.
Julian Hakes, the mojito shoe’s creator, wondered why a foot plate was necessary. Isn’t arch support pretty much accepted as a good thing by podiatrists and people who like to walk any distance in their shoes? I strongly disapprove of the archless trend.
