What if Good & Plenty Were an Outfit?

July 3, 2012 by Kristen Philipkoski Filed Under: Fashion, Featured Posts, Geekery Leave a Comment

Good 'n' Plenty outfit
Walgreen’s drug store almost always has a three-for-one-dollar jumbo-sized Good & Plenty deal. Which means I have a problem. They’re too easy to obsessively pop in my mouth while I’m writing, blogging, driving, thinking, doing Pilates, what have you. Even over all the “gourmet” black licorice candies from Eastern Europe with sea salt and licorice root grown by monks, I prefer good old fashioned Good & Plenty. I am not typically a pink kind of girl, but this is one very delicious pink. My husband thinks it’s a disgusting candy. That’s O.K. More for me! good & plenty

Diane Von Furstenberg Tamika dress, $355 (down from $505!)

Kimberly McDonald diamond cobalto earrings, $11,000 (What?! I know.)

Cambridge Pink Satchel ASOS exclusive, $224

White Wayfarer sunglasses, $87

Michael Kors wrap bracelet, $95

Nicholas Kirkwood Keith Haring pumps, $762

Essie Cascade Cool nail polish, $8

Essie Resort Collection 2012 Pink-a-Boo, $8

Hey, Sister!

I'm a feminist, former science writer, reformed shopaholic, caftan-lover and 40-something mom to a toddler and a teenager. You'll usually find me wearing '70s clothes at my '70s house near the beach in Northern California. Stylenik is where I share lessons learned regarding all of the above. My friends call me KP. Thanks so much for visiting!
